Natwar Gandhi to get second term as Washington DC CFO

Natwar Gandhi, the Indian-origin Chief Financial Officer of Washington DC, will be reappointed to a second term in office.

Gandhi, who hails from Gujarat, will be handling Washington DC's finances for a another five year term when his current term expires next year.

The move is seen as an effort on the part of Democratic party mayoral candidate Fenty to reassure investors that the city's finances will remain strong in the hands of Natwar Gandhi as the Mayoral candidate has been facing criticism for lack of proper qualification to handle the multi-billion dollar budget of the city.
