This Madhuri Dixit fan is different

Like thousands of others, Pappu Sardar idolises Bollywood actor Madhuri Dixit. But he is a unique member of her fan club in that he has taken it upon himself to reach out to those in need while dedicating the service to her. He never misses an occasion to do his bidding, whether it is a special day for the superstar or any general festivity.

The owner of Manohar Chaatwala, a popular sweet and chaat shop in the steel city of Jamsedpur, Pappu Sardar, is a die-hard Madhuri fan.

Not surprisingly, Dixit's birthday on May 15 too sees Sardar turning into a Good Samaritan every year. As the actor turned 37 this summer, he spent time at Nirmal Hriday as well as with the handicapped children of the R.P. Patel Cheshire Home where he has also set up a rest house and garden in the filmstar's name. He dedicated the langar he organised in Baltal in Jammu and Kashmir at the conclusion of the Amarnath Yatra to Dixit once again.
